TEMPEST BASS HEAD
Port City Amplification is proud to announce our first bass guitar head, the Tempest. This hand-wired, 60-watt tube bass head is a flexible and reliable option for the modern bassist. Through a simple set of controls, a wide variety of bass tones can be dialed in to suit rock, vintage, slap, modern, jazz, and styles not yet created.
In addition to normal Treble, Middle, and Bass tone controls, the Tempest has a bright switch to further shape the treble. The result is an unexpectedly powerful and musical tool for bass players of all types.
The Port City Tempest features:

· 2 – JJ 12AX7 preamp tubes

The Port City Tempest is handmade in North Carolina, USA using only the highest quality components. Our amps use Mallory capacitors, carbon film resistors, custom USA made transformers, PVC coated wire and Switchcraft jacks.
