from 63 reviewsTouch dynamics, high end sparkle, low end percussiveness, great at any volume. This amp really does it all, I am blown away. I have bought, sold and traded many amps and this is my favorite clean sound. Your pedalboard will thank you. Bonus points for having the same top tier build quality Port City is known for in their cabs and great customer support.

I took Daniel's first amp-building class back in August and had a blast. I was looking for a class that leaned more into education on tube amps instead of a "paint-by-numbers" approach where the instructor hands you the materials and you're on your own from there. On this front, Daniel totally delivered. The class included a history of tube technology, and started from absolute basics of "how do I use a soldering iron?", so no prior experience was necessary. Daniel went through the details of each section of the amp while we were building it, even offering suggestions for mods and explaining why the mods work, and offered 1-on-1 assistance for anyone who was struggling.
Best of all, you WILL leave with a gorgeous, working amplifier that you built with your own hands. Daniel somehow managed to squeeze 3 days of instruction into a single weekend, and my class did not finish until every person left with a working amplifier. If you're on the fence about trying this class, I would implore you to sign up.

The amplifier class was fantastic. Daniel is a patient teacher and was able to get every student through the entire amp build. Don't worry if you're not technical. In two days you WILL build a gorgeous, classic Fender Tweed tube guitar amp, learn a lot about how it works and then have the amp to enjoy for years.

Incredible technical hands on learning opportunity. Daniel spent time going through the history of the amplifier along with the technical aspects. It doesn’t matter your background, the program is adjusted to accommodate all. This was a fantastic opportunity and I came away with some new friend to boot.

The amp building course was amazing! It was hard work, and a ton of information but the time flew by. I really enjoyed making new friends. Daniel is tremendously knowledgeable of every detail of the build and can answer any question put to him..I just had a blast!!! I would do it again

I had never worked on, or really opened up an amp before. I decided to attend the class to try to learn some of the basics, and to help diagnose issues with my amps. The class was fast paced, and gave me a lot of hands on experience. Daniel was patient and happy to help with questions and targeted assistance. I believe this class is helpful for any amp owner, especially to get a good starting knowledge of amps (although the class covered more advanced topics as well)!

a distortion and boost fit for sonic royalty. Thick, rich, and articulate with just a touch of fuzz, it nails everything from searing leads to punishing rhythm tones. The 3-band EQ and Presence control give you total command over your sound, and the built-in Salem Boost ensures you’ll always rise above the mix. Rule your tone. Take the throne.

i got this cab to go with magnatone super fifteen i own. the sound that comes from this pairing is stupendous. Daniel builds just the best stuff.

First time buyer, long time Marshall/Vox player. Got the cab in, and it’s very sharp, solid build, and sounds incredible. Brings a voice to my head way clearer and punchier than my 4x12 ever did. Pedals have a whole new character, in a great way. Thrilled with the purchase!

I can't stop playing it... The OS 2x12 is an absolute beast. I went with the WGS Veteran 30 / ET65 Mix. Really pleased with the finish and how everything turned out

I got this combo and just love it. I did throw a Weber alnico in but i am a tinkerer. This amp was featured in a casino guitars video about NC built amps. It just keeps getting better and better the more it gets played.

I ordered a ''python green'' vert cab and it is all i could have hoped for. The quality is outstanding. My only problem is my friends keep taking it to shows and the studio

The cabinet is amazing! It’s so resonant, surprisingly loud for how compact it is and beautifully made. I can’t even articulate how happy I am with it. Thanks!

I've only played it so far in my practice space, and have to turn the bass down quite a bit. This 1x12 is way fuller than the 2x12 I usually use. I'm looking forward to taking it to the hall soon so I can open it up a bit more!

The sound of the cab exceeded my expectations for sure! Very thumpy and huge with a good sizzle. And the black and silver look better with my amp head anyway. Happy accident.
